What’s better than a warm and comfy pullover for cozying up on brisk Fall and Winter days?
Staycation is a drop-shoulder sweater, knit from the top down, complete with two sleeve finishing options and sporting a garter ridge mock neck for ultimate warmth.
Featuring stripes of mosaic colorwork, this bulky weight sweater is quick to knit and fun to wear! Staycation is one of those sweaters you will want to grab for time and again.
Pattern Construction
Staycation Pullover is worked from the top down allowing you to try on as you go! Beginning from the shoulder seam, the back & front body are worked flat separately initially. After completion of the front neckline shaping, the front and back are joined together, and the remainder of the sweater is knit in the round. This pattern is designed to be worked using four colors of Bulky weight yarn.
Staycation Pullover features a cozy mock neck and offers two sleeve options – sleeveless or long sleeve. This colorwork for this design is achieved with a slip stitch pattern – no stranded colorwork.

Sizing Information
1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)
Designed to fit with recommended positive ease of 4 – 12” / 10 - 30 cm.
Select a “Finished Bust” circumference size which is 4 – 12” / 10 - 30 cm larger than your actual bust measurement, per ease preference. #sizeinclusive
Note: Due to the nature of drop shoulder construction, the “sleeveless” option provides a cap or short sleeve. The higher the amount of positive ease, the lower the sleeve seam/edge will fall at the upper arm.
- If you select a size with less than 5” / 13 cm positive ease you may need to work a longer armhole depth prior to joining front and back body, depending on broadness of your shoulders.
Fit Reference: Sample is size 3 and reflects 8.5” / 22 cm positive ease on 36” / 91 cm bust.
