This pattern was designed for Cast Away Yarn Shop for the 2019 Wine Country Yarn Hop.

The blanket photographed is our Knitted Stash Scales pattern, and a crocheted one would look nearly identical in shape.

Yarn: about 30 (24, 20, 18) yards / 9 (10, 11, 15) grams of fingering/sport (dk, worsted, bulky) weight yarn for each scale

Hooks: US D (F, 7, I) / 3.25 (3.75, 4.5, 5.5) mm or sizes needed to obtain gauges

Notions: darning needle, scissors, measuring tape
for optional border: 3 locking stitch markers

Gauge: 6.75 (5.5, 4.5, 4) stitches & 8 (6.5, 5.5, 4.5) rows per inch in single crochet before blocking

Measurements: each scale is about 4.5” x 5”
