Handspun wool yarn is like a raw gemstone tumbled and refined to shine and sparkle. Anything created with something so beautiful needs to be simple enough to let the yarn be the hero. I designed this headband with that in mind. Sara of Smudge Yarns dyed and spun this from the wool of local Irish sheep.

Materials:
40–50yd / 36–46m / 16g handspun knitting yarn in DK weight.
I used Smudge Yarns.

Tools:
5.5mm / US9 circular knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Scissors and needle to weave in ends.

Pattern Gauge:
8sts x 14rows = 2in x 2in, in pattern

Finished Size:
Adult
