A great stash buster pattern, you can knit each CC and/or MC stripe with different colour. The socks have a no pick up stitches wedge heel.

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 420 m/ 459 yds per 100 g in two colours, 40 (50) 60 g of MC and 15-20 (20-25) 25-30 g of CC. The sample socks with CC toe were knitted with Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash 75/25 (75% Wool, 25% Nylon, 210 m / 230 yds per 50 g) in colourways 045 Taupe (MC) and 004 Black (CC) and with MC toe in colourways 022 Beige (MC) and 215 Brick (CC). Both socks have 11 pattern repeats and used 50 g of MC and 25 of CC was enough. In size M toe used app. 3 g, one CC stripe 0.8 g and MC stripe 2 g.

The sample socks (size M) were knitted with Cascade Yarns Heritage 6 (75% Merino, 25% Nylon, 267 m/ 292 yds per 100 g) in colourways 5618 Snow (MC) and 5672 Real Black (CC). The socks have 13 pattern repeats and used 68 g of MC and 32 g of CC. In size M toe used app. 4 g, one CC stripe 1 g and MC stripe 2.25 g.

The sample socks (size M) were knitted with Lana Grossa Meilenweit 8-fach (80% Merino, 20% Nylon, 315 m/ 344 yds per 150 g) in colourways 9567 Sand (MC) and 9570 Red (CC). The socks have 9 pattern repeats and used 60 g of MC and 45 of CC was enough. In size M toe used app. 5 g, one CC stripe 1.5 g and MC stripe 3.5 g.
