Select eight colors of fingering weight yarn to knit this stranded colorwork cowl. The cowl is knitted as a tube in the round, beginning with zig zag stripes. Increaes gradually shape the cowl to create a longer height at the back of the head for a hooded cocoon shape. The contrasting colors clash with vibrant energy in the geometric triangle, chevron, and diamond motifs. Decreases shape the fabric to form a tapered slope toward the bind off edge. Seam the CO and BO edge together for a fully reversible and double thick fabric. This design is the ultimate defender against chilly winter shivers.
