Shades of Winter Set
This winter collection came about from my participation in the Battle of the Stitches Challenge for the last quarter of 2015. The theme: “Fall into Winter.” The stitch: “The brick stitch.” Create a stunning collection for your home with a lovely runner, matching Christmas stocking and tissue cover!
Materials:
• Crochet hook size I/9 (5.50 mm)
• Medium weight (7 oz/355 yards) Skeins 100% acrylic “I LOVE This Yarn Super Soft” in ea (Stonewash, Light Gray, & Ivory)
Finishing Materials:
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
• 1 boutique tissue box
Finished Size:
Runner: 35” L x 14” W (from snowflake tip to snowflake tip)
Stocking: 16 1/2” L x 5” W
Tissue Box: 5” T x 4 1/4” sq (fits a standard boutique style tissue box)
Gauge: Approx 2 rows brick st = 1” / 3 post sts = 1”
Skill Level: Intermediate - Experienced
