Seed Pods

Simple slipped stitch cables add fun and interest to this toe-up sock pattern. The cables give an interesting 3-D texture to the fabric - reminiscent of seed pods in the garden.
The socks feature a gusset heel flap and with an easy-to-memorise pattern they are a quick and entertaining knit.
The pattern is offered in two sizes: M (8” circumference) and L (9” circumference)
As for yarn choices, any standard 4ply sock yarn will work well. Semi-solid or solid shades and a smooth textured yarn will ensure that the cables are shown off to their best advantage.
Errata: Please note that the directions should state to cast on 13 (15) stitches
