This was the final pattern of Sock Madness 3.

The design uses some stitches that are quite interesting and special. My grandmother was told how to knit them by Eastern European girls after WW2.
I learned these stitches from her and have never seen them on a sock before, though she used to knit lots of nice socks for us when we were kids. To me this is the perfect remembrance pattern.

Why did I choose to name this pattern “see you later”? Because the stitches and color remind me of an alligator… and because I’d really like to see lots of your socks, sooner or later!
