Seavey is knit from the bottom up. The garment is worked in the round to the center split, then worked flat to the shoulders. The tank has a wide broken rib hem and broken rib detail that runs from hem to underarm along the sides. Shoulders are seamed using the three-needle bind off. Neckline stitches are picked up and a button closure is added to secure the two front panels. Armhole stitches are picked up and immediately bound off as a subtle finishing element.

This garment can be worn over a base layer and styled as a vest or it can be worn as a warm weather tank. A slight modification can orient the split to the back of the garment.
