Saturna
Looking for a quick, cozy knit for yourself or a last-minute gift? The Saturna infinity scarf fits the bill nicely. Saturna is made in a plied, lofty, Aran weight wool for softness, stitch definition, and squishable warmth. This scarf is worked in the round with rolled edges, giving it a polished look with minimal finishing; instructions for an I-cord cast on and bind off are also included. (Sample shown has a rolled edge.)Saturna’s stitch pattern is easy to read and memorize, perfect for knitting on the go. Pattern includes both charted and written instructions.
Needle length: 40”/100cm. You will need 2 skeins (340 yds/ 311m) of MC (Kittywake) and 1 skein (170 yds/156m) of CC (Frank’s Plum). For the I-cord edge, you will also need a US10.75/7.0mm 40”/100cm circular needle.
Saturna and its sister pattern, Galiano, are available together as the Gulf Islands Gifts e-book for $7 USD.
