Saturated Kerchief
by Ann Weaver
Can you believe these colors were in a clearance bin together? Knit this simple shawl as an exercise in contrast of hue!
Yarn requirements:
225 yd A (gray in sample)
75 yd B (yellow)
125 yd C (red)
175 yd C (blue)
If you’re using Harrisville Shetland, you’ll need two skeins of A and one skein of each other color.
The kerchief can be made larger by working more rows once the increases are set up.
The fabric created by knitting a fingering-weight yarn on Size 10 needles is open and airy. If you prefer a denser knit, go down a few needle sizes.
