This shirt was originally designed as a solid-colored top, but as these 3 colors are made to be worked together, I couldn’t resist and gave them a try. And the result does not disappoint, right?! The Summer in Kashmir yarn is a perfect smooth luxury summer yarn that creates a very soft and pleasant fabric.
This simple shaped T-shirt features some interesting techniques and finishing touches.
You start top down with a little contrast folded collar. The construction is similar to a classical raglan style, but you work increases not only besides the typical raglan columns, but in the three front panels in garter stitch to create long triangles that run into the hem later. The hem and cuffs are worked double with some interesting color features. You never get bored during the knitting although there is a lot of stockinette stitch involved, but the decreases and garter-stitch portions, as well as the color changes every other round, makes it interesting without being too complicated.

DEUTSCH

Eigentlich sollte es ein einfarbiges Shirt werden, aber die 3 Farben des Originalgarnes schrien geradezu zusammen verstrickt zu werden und das Ergebnis überzeugt, oder?
Summer in Kashmir ist ein weiches luxuriöses Garn, das sich toll verarbeiten lässt und ein wunderschönes Gestrick ergibt.
Eine schliche Silhouette dafür aber tolle Details machen das SaendT zu etwas Besonderem.
Es wird von oben nach unten gearbeitet. Man startet mit einem kleinen doppelten Kragen und dann geht es weiter mit Raglan-Zunahmen, wobei 2 Zunahme Linien zur vorderen Mitte verlegt werden. Durch die verschiedenen Strickarten (glatt-recht und kraus-rechts und die Zunahmen ergeben sich interessante Linienführungen auf dem Vorderteil.
Der Saum und die Ärmelbündchen werden doppelt gestrickt und können so farbliche Akzente setzten.
Das Stricken gestaltet sich durch die Zu- und Abnahmen, die Kraus- und Glatt-Rechts Partien, sowie die Farbwechsel abwechslungsreich, aber unkompliziert.
