Rose
A full blooming rose for my Rose - perfect for a winter’s day!
This is a pattern for a Fair Isle knit beanie. Rose is worked frorm the bottom up and in the round. The pattern also contains a sport/DK weight version (seen in brown)!
Lighter Rose
yarn:
Montara Sock by The Dye Project - mini skein
Fingering; 80% Corriedale, 20% Nylon
105yds (96m)/ 25g
approx. yarn amounts:
MC (blue-green) - 25g
CC1 (yellow)- 10g
CC2 (Blue)- 10g
needles:
2.75mm (us no 2) DPNs, 15cm, set of 4
3.25mm (us no 3) circular, 41cm
3.25mm (us no 3) DPNs, 15cm, set of 4
gauge: 32 sts x 28 rows = 10cm measured over stranded stockinette on 3.25mm
WARNING - Simply Alpaca Aran is not a true Aran weight yarn. Use Simply Alpaca or yarn to get gauge. Rose would work nicely with a sport weight yarn.
