Roll Play
A simple bias strip - to roll or not, depending on what works best with your yarn (photos #3 and #4 show the same cowl rolled and blocked flat).
If you’ve never knitted on the bias before, this could be a great way to start because little mistakes can be hidden by the rolling.**
Like many of my patterns, this one started out as a design for a specific yarn.
I wanted to keep the colours of the fleece artist as they were in the skein and decided stockinette was best - of course, it rolls, but then when I tried it on I decided that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.
It worked out perfectly with the Fleece artist yarn; but is also effective with other yarns. You’ll need roughly 180m/200yds. for a double loop.
