This is the Crochet Pattern for a Red Rose. Of course you could make it in any other colour, there are pink roses and yellow roses, even white roses. It’s quick to make and lovely to wear as a brooch, or sew it onto a bag.

Size
The rose measures approx 7 cm (3”) across – not including the leaf.

Materials
25 meters (23 yards) from a 50g ball of DK (Light Worsted) knitting wool in Red
2.5 meters (3 yards) of green for the leaf
4 mm crochet hook ( UK/Aus/Canada 8/ US 6)
Brooch back to make it into a brooch.
Wool sewing needle.
