Quadrat Cowl
DESIGN INFORMATION
The Quadrat Cowl is composed of 5 larger pieces that are created by working 4 mitered squares, which are built off of each other. Then, each piece has a border worked along one edge. All the pieces are then seamed and a band is worked in the round along each outer edge.
If you want a longer or shorter cowl, simplye work more or fewer pieces of the mitered squares.
The sample was knit with Knit Picks Chroma Worsted, a 70% superwash wool, 30% nylon blend. Chroma is a single-ply yarn that has differences in thickness that gives a plush and handspun look to finished projects. When substituting yarn, look for a single-ply worsted weight wool (superwash or non-superwash).
Wear the Cowl as a cozy wrap around your neck with your prettiest fall dresses, as a smart layer under your thickest wool coat. However you wear it, the Quadrat Cowl will be a delightful addition to your everyday handmade wardrobe.
