This is the 5th pattern in The Swish and Flick Collective.

This hat is inspired by of course, Dolores Umbridge ! The diamond and garter motif reflects one of the cardigans she loves to wear, and I added a bead to the centre of each diamond for extra sparkle.

I used a skein of my own hand dyed yarn for the sample. You will need one skein of a fingering weight yarn. The design also has the option of adding beads. For this, I used Miyuki Triangle Beads in size 5.

The pattern includes a video tutorial on how to add the beads using a crochet hook.

I would recommend a solid, tonal or lightly speckled yarn for this design.
