Peacock
Peacock is a slouch hat, easy enough for a beginner who wants to try fair-isle for the first time.
You don’t need to weave in your yarn as they are only few stitches between each colour, just carry the 2 colours VERY LOOSELY on the back of your work, I like to spread the stitches on my right-hand needle every 3 or 4 stitches.
To help you keep track in the chart you may want to place markers every 12 stitches.
The 2 colours stranded work will give you extra warmth, perfect to protect your ears on a cold winter.
requirements :
200m of worsted weight yarn for each colour.
16 in ch circular needle and DPN the same size to obtain the gauge 21sts / 4 inch.
Will fit an average woman’s head (20 to 23 inch)
The pattern includes a chart that you read from right to left ;o)
Thank you and happy knitting.
