One Row Stripe Scarf
Thanks to a unique construction method, this scarf allows you to create one-row stripes while working flat. There are no ends to weave in (except at the cast on and bind off ends) on this reversible scarf.
This scarf is a great stash buster and is extremely giftable. Pattern gives instructions for easily adjusting the length and width of the scarf to your preference.
YARN: 200 yards/183 meters of two contrasting colors of fingering weight yarns for a total of 400 yards/366 meters
Sample knit with:
Color A: Urth - Uneek Fingering (100% Extra Fine Merino; 435 yards/100 g) in #3010.
Color B: Ewe Ewe Yarns- Fluffy Fingering (100% superwash fine merino wool; 200 yards/50 g) in Brushed Silver.
NEEDLES: Size US 5/3.75 mm or size to obtain gauge. Note: the construction of this scarf uses a ‘Turn + Slide’ technique, which requires you, at times, to slide your stitches from one end of the needle to the other, so it’s essential that you use a pair of circular needles (24”/61 cm is a comfortable length) or long double points.
Photo tutorial and written instructions are included.
