This modern slouchy crochet hat is a quick and satisfying project, perfect for last-minute gifting or a cozy addition to your own winter wardrobe.

Worked top-down in the round using only basic stitches (single and double crochet), this pattern is beginner-friendly and works up fast with bulky yarn and a large hook. You’ll find three sizes included, covering head circumferences from 20” to 24½“ (51–62 cm), so you can make one for nearly anyone.

Make it in a solid color or dive into your stash—this is a great one-skein project with lots of versatility.

Please note: my sizing chart is based on average head measurements, but head size is individual and not age-dependent — I strongly recommend measuring the actual head circumference to select the correct size.
