I see falling leaves,
And hear them crunching beneath,
A crisp wind blows through.

A shawl in honor of my favorite season, Autumn. The colors during this time are of such exquisite shades of reds, yellows and oranges. Leaves are falling from trees in spades and make one of the most possibly satisfactory sounds when you’re lucky to find an extra crunchy one. And when you find yourself in a flurry of leaves, it becomes quite a magical (though possibly startling) moment.

Wanting to capture such a moment in a shawl served as inspiration for the design. An intricate, feminine and hard-to-put-down lace pattern resembling falling leaves, is worked through out. Adding to the spirit of the season, the lace body is worked in the Artyarns Merino Cloud Gradient set. The nature of gradients perfectly reflects the colors of the season and the yarn is of such luxury that you just can’t wait to wrap yourself up in it.

Light as a feather, delightfully cozy, sophisticated and divine, this eye-catching shawl has the spirit of autumn woven into its stitches.
