Mimosa Headband
Mimosa Headband is the go to accessory for cold autumn or spring days.
This is the sister project to my Mimosa Socks
You can either choose to make it with or without a twist. It is knitted in the round and features an intricate lace pattern from Hitomi Shida’s Japanese knitting stitch bible. Ends grafted together after blocking to achieve a seamless edge.
Optional provisional cast on.
One size
55 cm long, 9 cm wide after blocking.
Gauge
3,5 sts x 3,6 rows/1 cm on 2 mm/0 US in lace before blocking
Yarn
• Malabrigo Mechita
• 400 meters/ 437 yards
• Shown in Frank Ochre, used less then 1 skein (approx. 200m)
Any other merino fingering weight wool is great.
