Milo
Hats are my favorite one skein project. I always find myself buying single skeins to put aside for hat knitting. It’s a great way to try out new yarn brands and types. And you can never have too many hats! (Especially when you live in New England!)
Milo is knit using sportweight yarn from Long Island Yarn and Farm. It is warm and squishy. I added a small button tab for a little extra decoration.
The hat is named for one of the lovely animals who contributed fiber to this yarn.
Yarn 160 (180, 200) yds / 146 (165, 183) m sportweight yarn.(Note: If you are substituting, this yarn is closer to a commercial DK… so please swatch !)
• Shown in Long Island Yarn and Farm Sport 72% alpaca/25% merino wool/ 3% firestar, 200 yds/183 m per 4 oz/113g skein in Cyan.
