Milam is an oversized popover vest layer knitted in a chunky weight yarn. Beginning with a split ribbed hem, the vest is joined to work in the round with a cabled detail along the side “seams”. After reaching the underarm, the front is split from the back and worked back and forth in rows to the shoulders. The armhole edges are self-finishing.
