Mermaid Wake is a Yarn Trader exclusive pattern, designed to showcase their wonderful in-house indie dyed sock yarn, Skinny Sock.

This pattern is a two colour, slip stitch and mosaic colourwork sock pattern featuring wavey fish scales, a mermaid tail and a paper boat motif. Colourwork only in the rounded toes, heels and cuffs makes for a fun, interesting, but super speedy knit.

Intended to be knit in the round in one skein and one miniskein of complimenting colours of Yarn Trader Skinny Sock. Mermaid Wake is knit toe-up on two pairs of 2mm circular needles, these socks also feature rounded toe construction, cupped short row heels, and a fold over hem at the cuffs.

Charts are grouped by size for easy consultation. If printing instructions, only three pages should be required for any size.
