Mary's Memory
A free version is also available.
Please note that the paid PDF is a print-friendly, ad-free, US version of the pattern. It does not contain the photo tutorial or the charts (freely available from my website). Only a few photos have been added for clarity.
I designed the Mary’s Memory Hexagon for my 2019 Australia/New Zealand Crochet Cruise with Crafty Adventures.
It is dedicated to one of my favourite poets (Mary Oliver) and a special friend (Aunty Mary).
I have broken the tutorial up into three parts, which I will share over the coming week. At the ends of Parts 1 and 3, you will have either a small or a large stand-alone motif that you can use to create blankets with. After that, I will tell you how I grew my motif even bigger by adding the border from the Scheepjes Ubuntu CAL 2018 to it.
The pattern is available for free on my website (US Terminology), presented as a photo tutorial with charts created in collaboration with Maggie Bullock.
I hope you enjoy this one and incorporate many of your own memories as you work on it.
