This bag takes advantage of the gorgeous Corde’ yarn, but saves on $$ by using purse handles you may already have. Hand-dyed colors are wonderful. Use Size 8’s to work the base rectangle, then pick up stitches and work the mesh body. The pattern uses lots of markers to keep you on track, since it can be a little easy to get mixed up, even though it is an easy pattern. Diagram for stitch pickup included. Use a non-stretchy yarn, since the lace is stretchy already.
