The Love Story top captures a romantic summer mood with its beautiful lace pattern. The neckline is finished with an I-cord edge and I-cord straps. This bohemian lace top is the perfect addition to any summer wardrobe, pairing effortlessly with shorts, trousers, or skirts. It’s a piece you’ll feel elegant in—whether for everyday wear or festive occasions.

The Love Story top is worked in the round from the bottom up. Armhole shaping is done with decreases and the neckline is finished with an I-cord bind-off and I-cord straps. The top is knitted with Drops Belle, a linen blend yarn. You may substitute with any DK weight summer yarn.

The Love Story top knitting pattern includes two different hem finishing options. You can choose between a classic ribbed edge or a romantic picot hem. Select the edge style that best suits your personal taste. In the sample photos, the Love Story top with a ribbed hem is worked to standard length, while the version with the picot edge is cropped to waist length. If you prefer to knit the cropped version, you’ll need approximately one skein less
yarn than the full-length version.
