Lizbeth is the consummate autumn pullover. The deep, rich orange is reminiscent of October leaves. The beautiful detailed stitch pattern reflects the beauty found in the details of leafs, pine cones, and nut shells. The fit and style are as comfortable as the cool evening air after the dog days of summer. Lizbeth was designed with Malabrigo worsted, a soft single-ply yarn with a rustic stitch definition. This sweater will not spend much time on your shelves or in your drawers during the syncopated days of autumn.

Lizbeth is part of a three pattern series designed with Malabrigo yarn called Syncopated Cables. The patterns can be bought separately or together as an ebook.

I will being running a KAL with the Syncopated Cables patterns! If you are interested post here.

Wonderful Design
This is a really easy pattern to knit, with enough going on in the charts that it is still interesting. I’m enjoying this a lot.
I really like the pattern, perfect for TV but not boring!

Notes: This sweater is a compound raglan constructed from the top down in one piece. The compound raglan allows for a more flattering fit because the rate of increase varies to more accurately follow the shape of the body. It increases more rapidly between the neck and shoulders and at the end to curve around the underarm, but more gradually in the section in between. It is modeled with a slight negative ease, but if you desire a looser fit make a size that measures slightly larger than your bust. And of course the sleeves and body can be easily lengthened by adding more rows. Be sure to swatch the collar, depending on yarn choice it may tend to ruffle. If this happens go down 1 or 2 needle sizes for the collar. The Malabrigo worsted used in the sample did not ruffle.
