Karl the Shawl
This pattern will be available exclusively at Stitches West 2019 in the Bay Street Yarns-Nano Stitch Labs-That Crafty Little Fox booth, both individually and as part of a kit. It will only be available as a printed pattern at that time.
If you purchase the pattern on Ravelry after Stitches West and before March 1, 2019 you will only receive the cover page and general pattern information. The full instructions will be available on March 1, 2019.**
KARL THE SHAWL is an asymmetrical triangle, worked flat from the tip to the widest side. It features bands of easy, intuitive lace and bobbles, providing bold contrast from the garter stitch sections and creating visual and textural interest. The design of this shawl takes inspiration from San Francisco and its famous crooked, winding Lombard Street and steep hills, and is named after the infamous Karl the Fog.
KARL THE SHAWL was designed as a collaboration between myself and indie dyers, Bay Street Yarns and Nano Stitch Lab, for Stitches West 2019. The colors used in the sample are Stitches exclusive colorways created by each dyer for the event.
