When life is lighter than a air, I hang onto a cloud. Swinging in the breeze, floating where I please and singing much too loud. This is the way I felt as I made this shawl. The kid silk is just soo light and soft, it made the making process just a joy.
Tools & materials
Skill Level: Advanced beginner
Yarn: Kid Silk yarn or a sport weight yarn (check gauge if you are not using Kid Silk). The picture uses Kid Silk from Heartbeats Yarn. It is 74% Kid Mohair & 26% Mulberry Silk.
MC (Pink): 75gm / 699 yds / 639 m
CC (Off White): 50 gm/ 466 yds / 426 m
Hook Size: 4.5 mm (US-7)
Gauge: 18 sts x 8.5 rows in dc makes 4”/ 10 cm post blocking
Finished Measurements: 74”x 24.5” / 188 x 62.5cm
