The word INUA
takes on a greater significance in the
Eskaleut languages throughout the Arctic, and is
translated as “spirit” or “life force.”
In this design, it encapsulates energy that stirs
fire and creates warmth.
I chose the color deep red and bright yellow
to contrast with the
cold of winter, symbolizing the flame flickering
inside of a glowing fireplace defying the
cold even in the
depp stillness of a cold winter night.
