Looking at a Chinese Take Out Box, I got this idea…..maybe I could knit that. And….if I felted it a little it would keep it’s shape. So the knitted Chinese Take Out Box was born. It is knit in one piece, no seams, and the sides fold in just like on a take out box. I made a couple of versions. One version I used cut down Chinese chop sticks for the clasp at the top, another I made up some fortune cookies with material, and the simple one I used a cloisonne bead. I love this knitting thing!
