In Memory
Back at the very start of 2020 there were many things going on in my personal life and I had a lot of emotions that I needed to get out. After watching a very popular superhero film I found the perfect scene to inspire me and to help me release everything I felt.
This is a full blown sunset background with a foreground of a pounding waterfall. Sailing off into the night sky is a Viking ship with the flames and spirits swirling upwards from it.
I didn’t think this would ever be a pattern I wrote up for others to use. For the very simple reason that my own spirit was still deeply connected to my work. The thought of others making this design felt intrusive at the time. But it has been over a year. It has been the worst year of many of our lives. There are very few of us who are fortunate enough to be able to say that we haven’t lost someone or some many people in the last year, and I sadly include myself in the list of people who has had losses. I am ready to share this and I hope that if you choose to make this pattern then you will be able to take a little comfort.
