Honeybee mitts
The Honey bee mitts are fun project for early spring when the air is still cold. It’s a fun and fast little knit and it’s a great joy to see the bee emerging!
The mitts are a sibling to the sionnach mitts and the tyto mitts with the same construction.
The mitts are knitted in jamiesons of shetland in the colours:
104 Natural white, 230 Yellow ochre, 970 Espresso
I also can recommend Rauma finull or tuku fingering!
You need:
Approximately 180 yards/ 160 m of main colour (white)
Approximately 100 yards/ 90 m of contrast colour 1 (yellow)
Approximately 100 yards/90 m of contrast colour 2 (brown)
of fingering weight yarn
The size can be adjusted by going up a needle size and/or using a heavier weight yarn.
