Henley
This versatile slouchy jacket features fairly simple lace and spiral textured stitch patterns – no cable needle required, long sleeves, welt, collar and pockets trimmed with a stripe rib. The body is worked in one piece to the armholes then divided for left & right fronts and back. There is a rib panel where the side seams would be, allowing the garment to be blocked to your personal preference. The sleeves are knitted up from the rib cuff and are set in. Stitches are picked up to complete the pocket tops, front bands and collar, which is shaped with short row shaping.
The original yarn seems to be discontinued but Blacker Classic DK (100% wool including 30% Blue Faced Leicester) in white, dark red and navy, seems to be a good substitute, but do check with a swatch first.
