Gunther Blanket
The Gunther Blanket is made from solid granny squares using the tapestry crochet technique to create an attractive repeating diamond pattern over the whole blanket. It is finished off with a ribbed border, to give a wonderful cosy finish.
The blanket is made with Caron Simply Soft (aran; 288m per 170.1g ball; 100% acrylic)
- 4 balls in Off White 9702
- 2 balls in Harvest Red 9763
The blanket measures 89 x 109 cm and is made with a 4 mm hook. However, the size could easily be adjusted by making more/fewer squares or using a different yarn weight.
The pattern was first published in issue 72 of Crochet Now magazine.
