Yarn A: LOPI Plötulopi (worsted; 100% wool; 300m / 328yds per 100g ball) color 1420 marsh, 1 skeins
Yarn B: LOPI Einband (lace; 100% wool; 250m / 273yds per 50g ball) color 0867 chocolate, 1 skein
or any yarn in similar weight and gauge.

Gauge: 20 sts & 28 rows = 10cm / 4” over St st worked in the round on 3 mm / US 2½ needles, after blocking.
Needles: 3 mm / US 2½ double pointed needles or needles for working in magic loop.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle.

Notes: Gunia mittens are worked in the round with the right side facing inwards the entire time. Work starting with a narrow folded cuff. The top of the hand is then worked in a Fur Stitch pattern, with the palm and thumb gusset in waste yarn. The thumbs are finished after the rest of mitten is complete.

Note: One strand of yarn A and one strand of yarn B are held together throughout.
