Fresta Fingerless Mitts
Traditional intertwining cables wrap the cuff of these fingerless mitts. The construction is deceptively simple: knit the cabled cuffs and join the two ends, then pick up stitches for the body of the mitts. Fresta cowl and hat are also available.
Finished Size: Cuff and hand 5” unstretched, up to 8” stretched.
Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Traveller, 100% Merino, 280 yards/4 ozs. Sample used approximately 185 yards.
Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or your preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round; size 5 US (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” blocked stockinette in the round
