Wing & A Prayer Farm’s new Clun Forest yarn will soon become your favorite workhorse yarn. This shawl features a skein of natural and one dyed skein. The yarn is plump, squishy, and rustic yet soft. Worked top down with extra edge increases to give it a wider width for wrapping without adding extra depth. Perfect size to keep the chill off in Fall or bundle up under a coat in the depths of winter. All colorwork is done using one color at a time. If you crave a larger shawl you can work extra rows of the edge pattern or the main body texture.

NEEDLES * US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle 32 to 60” length (or
size needed to obtain gauge)

NOTIONS * tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers

GAUGE * 16 stitches and 26 rows = 4” / 10 cm in main body
stitch blocked

SIZE * wing span: 82”/ 205 cm |depth 26”/ 65 cm

SKILLS * knit, purl, make 1 left and right, purl two together, slip
stitches, yarn over

NOTES * The main body of the shawl is worked as 2 right side
rows and then 2 wrong side rows. You will need a circular
needle to accommodate sliding the stitches back to work a
second RS or WS row.
