Flock Socks
I fell hard for Wing and a Prayer Farm’s Vermont Sock yarn at New York Sheep and Wool. It’s available in a range of beautiful colors but this sunny yellow called my name. A sock with heart cables seemed the perfect canvas for this yarn that is so special.
Flock Socks are worked from the toe up. They feature a heart cable along the instep and front of the leg. Twisted ribbing is used on the back of the leg.
The nice thing about toe up socks is the ability to try them on fairly easily as you go along. Another nice thing is you can check your yarn amount and adjust accordingly.
