Flint the Firefly / Lightning Bug pattern is for the advanced beginner.
Using hook and yarn suggested will give a firefly approx. 19cm tall.

Assembly of pieces required.
Most of the pattern is worked in continuous rounds/spirals of single crochet. Will need to know how to do single crochet, slip stitch, working in back loop, increases and decreases.

Gauge is not important. Finished size if made using yarn and hook suggested will give a firefly that’s approx. 20cm tall

Requirements
3.5mm hook or size needed so that no holes appear in stitches through which stuffing may show.
Carnival 8ply yarns in the following colours:
MC (Main colour) – Brown
CC1 (Contrast colour) – Orange

CC3 – White
Size 8mm safety eyes
Needle for joining pieces
