Celebrate your curves in this super-fitted, cap-sleeved sweater top designed to fit your exact measurements! All the complicated maths has been done for you. Simply take your measurements and select the appropriate instructions to knit a flattering stockinette Tee, whether your figure be an ‘hourglass’, a ‘pear’ or a ‘Barbie’. Accommodates hips from 30-48” (76-122cm) with up to 9” (23cm) waist shaping and cup-sizes AA-F(UK). Three lengths to suit heights 5’3”(160cm) - 6’ (183cm). Fill in the My Size Chart as a handy reference guide as you knit.

This top is worked as one-piece both in-the-round and back-and-forth on circular needles so you can check your fit as you knit. Clear written instructions take you through waist-shaping, bust darts, making a neat button-band and short-row shoulders, making it suitable for intermediate knitters. The sleeves are cast-on in place and shoulders are sealed using a three-needle bind off so there are no seams to join at the end! Finish with an accent colour pick-up & i-cord bind-off edging.

Knitted in Rowan Kid Classic yarn (shown in Precious), a lofty plied yarn with 70% wool, 26% mohair and 4% nylon, 140m (153yards)/ 50g with given ball band gauge of 18-19st/ 10cm (4”) on 5-5.5mm (UK 5-6/ US 8-9) needles. It has been treated as a DK weight rather than an aran, to give a denser tension to the knitted fabric that won’t sag with wear. When substituting yarns a DK could be considered for a lighter, looser summer top aiming to match the gauge given below rather than that of the original yarn.
