This doll was first designed for The Irish Fly Fair & Angling Show. This show is now in its 11th year usually in November in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, Galway, Ireland. This year due to Covit19 we have had to cancel, but we do hope that in 2021 The Irish Fly Fair will be able to continue.

The fisher dolls have been very popular with fishermen & women all over the world. I decided today that I would commit it to paper and make this knitting pattern available.
