Fiery Temper is a top-down, seamless, comfortable pullover knit in a textured stitch pattern with high collar and side vents.
Upper back part is worked first from shoulders to the underarms, the shoulders are shaped with short rows.
The stitches of the fronts are picked up from the cast on edges of the back shoulders. Fronts are worked separately to the bottom of the neck opening, then the pieces are joined together and worked in one piece to the underarms.
Then the back and front are joined and worked in one piece in the round to the hem, where the pieces are separated again and the ribbed hems are worked back and forth in rows.
The stitches of the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked to the cuff in the round. You can knit them in stockinette stitch or in 1x1 rib with interesting double decreases.
The body is worked in a stitch pattern that doesn’t require purling in the round, with a simple trick the fabric will be textured and 3-dimensional. This stitch pattern is especially great for the variegated yarns.
