Escanaba Hat
This big wooly hat is just so fun to make! With chunky yarn and a big hook, it works up super quickly. The pattern is simple and easy to memorize which makes it a great go-to project for those curl-up-on-the-couch movie-watching nights. The oversized pom-pom can be made of yarn or a small piece of faux fur- your choice. I suppose you could leave it off completely if that’s just not your thing- just don’t tell me about it.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners- There are clear photographs showing how to make the non-standard stitches so even if you’ve never heard of working into the back bar- you can still have a successful project.
Pattern also includes instructions for an easy faux fur pom-pom with photo tutorial.
