Drift & Bloom
A gentle dance of texture and air, the Drift & Bloom cardigan wraps your little one in storybook charm. Ridges ripple like hillside paths, while delicate eyelets scatter across like blossoming wildflowers. Knit in soft cotton yarn with thoughtful details, this pattern captures both motion and stillness—perfect for afternoon cuddles or holiday snapshots. Ideal for adventurous beginners and all skill levels with a love of texture. Knowledge or willingness to learn techniques of CO, BO, knit, purl, YO, K2tog, SSK, M1L, M1R, 3 needle bind off, and seaming will be needed for this pattern. Knit from bottom-up, drop shoulder style, body worked in one piece then divided for fronts and back, sleeves are knit separately and flat. Seams at shoulders, armholes, and sleeves provide this sweater with a bit of structure. 2 versions in 6 sizes from newborn to 24 months provides variety and flexibility for that special little one. Samples were knit in soft cotton for comfort, ease of care, and breathability.
