Dimday to Daybreak - Dimday
Dimday to Daybreak is a small collection consisting of 2 hats and a cowl. Inspired by the muted colours and the starlight seen at dusk, dawn and during the night. A time where traditionally we think of it as being ‘black’ but in reality there is colour but in soft muted shades. This is the pattern for Dimday, the first in the collection.
Dimday is a sassy little lace beret, the first in the Dimday to Daybreak series. It is perfect to make that transition from Autumn into Winter, warm enough to ward off the oncoming chill but not having the solid warmth needed for winter.
This beret needs only 200yds/180mts of a light worsted weight yarn to complete. I used an alpaca blend for some added warmth.
To fit head size:
Small: 20” 50cm
Medium: 22” 55cm
Large: 24” 60cm
Thank you to the many people involved in getting this piece publication ready including the wonderful testers in my group Sarah Jane’s Coffee and Crochet and also Boricuacrochet for both tech editing and testing.
