Diamond Pattern Blanket
This blanket uses a circular needle to create a flat piece of fabric in a falling leaves lace pattern with garter stitch edges.. This is because a blanket is large and heavy, so knitting it on a circular needle means that the cable holds the weight of the fabric and allows you to knit much more easily. You will need 9 x 100 gm balls of yarn and a 7mm circular needle 100 cm long.
