Diametric
Opposites attract in this geometric beanie - starting with a combination of two different brim treatments right through the knit and purl triangles that eventually merge in harmony at the top.
Worked in a heavier worsted, it makes a nice fitted beanie. In a yarn with more drape, you can get a great slouch. The decreases are done in pattern, giving the hat a double swirl at the top.
Hat comes in three sizes to fit most adult heads. Work it as a beanie, as shown in the pictures, or add repeats to make it more slouchy.
Yellow hat worked in Brown Sheep Worsted, gray in Premier Yarns Ever Soft Solids. Since it’s been discontinued, you could use another drapey acrylic such as Caron Soft for a similar effect.
